Nail Khusnutdinov

I am currently an professor at the Center for Mathematics, Computation and Cognition of the Federal University of ABC, in Campus São Bernardo do Campo.

My main research interests include:

  • Applications to physics of topological materials, graphene, etc
  • Casimir effect and related phenomena.
  • Quantum and Classical fields in Curved Background.
  • Wormholes, Topological defects

I am coordinator of the FAPESP project: 022/08771-5 «The approach of the polarization operator for the Casimir effect» and associated researcher of the FAPESP Thematic Project 2021/10128-0 «Quantum theory of fields under the influence of external conditions». The projects make it easier to apply for fellowships for students and postdocs.
